In addition to regular productions the Young People’s Theatre takes part in varied and challenging projects – from collaborations with other groups, competitions, new writing and summer visits away from Newcastle.
Notable projects have included:
- An international youth theatre festival with participants from Germany, Ireland and the United states
- New writing commissions
- Visits to Cuba, Spain, Germany and France
